2. Install Clockify.me for Chrome Browser

Note 2: It is very easy to ADD + also to REMOVE Google Chrome extensions without any hassle!

–> In Chrome store: Search for CLOCKIFY TIME TRACKER

In the search section of the Chrome web store, you search for Clockify Time Tracker. Once you see the correct Clockify Time Tracker Chrome extension appear, simply click on the Chrome web store description of the app. (See image below)

Now that you have selected the Clockify.me Chrome extension in the chrome web store, you follow up with the steps to effectively download the extension and add it to your Chrome browser.

Simply click ‘add to Chrome’ followed by clicking the ‘add extension’ pop-up.

Confirmation that the Clockify Time Tracker is downloaded, and added to your chrome browser. 

Now that Clockify is installed onto your browser, you can choose to PIN the Chrome Extension. This is an optional step!

3. Sign UP to Clockify and Create Clockify.me account!

In order for Clockify.me to work, you’ll need to create a FREE account with Clockify. Clockify has many compelling features for you to dig in to, so a free clockify account is worth it.

You can choose to either create a Clockify.me account via Email or Google Login. Simply follow the steps of account creation until you get to the installation screen as shown here below! 

Once your Clockify.me account is created, you’ll be able to access all of the features available in the Clockify Time Tracker free account. 

4. How clockify works and how to use clockify?

Get started and use Clockify.me chrome extension by adding a task. You can do this within your clockify.me dashboard, but it is much more convenient to do this directly from your Clockify.me Chrome extension. 

If you Pinned your Clockify extension in your Chrome browser you can simply click on the the Clockify logo and a small drop-down window will appear.

–> Add a task and start tracking! 

Every time you start and stop the timer, the time spent will be added to the overall day report. You can easily switch between tasks and engage the timer to start counting the task at hand.

If you are done with all your task tracking you can stop the tracking altogether. Your Clockify Chrome extensions can also notify you in case you have set up the POMODORO timer.

Tracking the time you spend on a certain task in one day is helpful. Yet tracking your progress over time is a step change. One thing is what we ‘feel’ about time, another is the – time we’ve actually spent!
